Monique Gray Smith began drinking at the age of 11.

It became an addiction quickly.

"Tilly -- A Story of Hope and Resilience" is a work of creative non-fiction based on Monique's own life.

It was published this summer.

Monique Gray Smith is in the studio with us this morning.
