Bass Coast Electronic Music and Art Festival set for August in Merritt

When the Merritt Mountain Music Festival shut down last summer it ended a popular summer tradition and it also meant the loss of tourist dollars for the Canadian Country Music Capital.
But move over because here comes something new; a different kind of festival where you likely won't be hearing any country music.
Four  thousand people are expected to be dancing to this music this August as the Bass Coast Electronic Music and Art Festival moves from Squamish to Merritt.
Liz Thomson is the Co-Founder of the Festival.
