Kamloops escort company's activities are morally troubling, but not illegal
RCMP say the activities of a Kamloops escort agency are not criminal. Angels After Dark has told CBC News it uses Facebook to recruit new employees. But it stops communicating with girls if it learns they are under the age of 18. Some high school students say they have been contacted by the agency, and find it creepy. Kamloops RCMP Staff Sergeant Grant Learned says the agency's activities are morally troubling, but not illegal. Learned says RCMP are working with the school district to inform students and parents about the agency and its activities.
Logan Lake RCMP asking for witnesses to triple fatal crash in September
The Logan Lake RCMP are appealing for new witnesses in a triple fatal crash in September to come forward. The crash involved a red 2003 Ford Expedition SUV that went off the Coquihalla highway near exit 366. The SUV, driven by a 42 year old New Westminster woman, rolled several times and ended up on top of fencing at the bottom of an embankment. Three people died. Police are asking anyone that saw the SUV before or during the September 14th crash to contact them.
