Put your cat on a leash, please

Dozens of nature groups in B.C. are using an American study to push for cats to be licensed in this province, just like dogs.

The study says cats kill almost 4 billion birds each year in the United States.

Tara Lowes, manages the city of Calgary's animal shelter, and explain why many Canadian cities, including Calgary, require owners to register their cats.
