Not-so Smart Meters, according to speaker

BC Hydro's smart meters are a health risk, according to retired army expert Jerry Flynn (CBC).
BC Hydro is replacing our old power-meters with Smart Meters.

They say the new meters are better for a number of reasons.

One of which is ability to transmit information to BC Hydro through a wireless network.

That's a big concern for a number people.

A group called the Nicola Valley Safe Technology Advocates is holding a meeting in Merritt
tonight with guest speaker Jerry Flynn.

He's a retired Armed Forces captain a wireless radio specialist and something of an expert on Electromagnetic Radiation.
