School closures announced in Williams Lake area

Cariboo Chilcotin school trustees revealed a list of school closures last night.

The district is short on money.

Five schools were potentially on the chopping block: an elementary and a junior high school in 100 Mile house, and three elementary schools in Williams Lake.

District Superintendent Mark Thiessen speaks with Daybreak host Shelley Joyce about which of these schools will close.
