Nelly Furtado talks about everything from mentoring young singers to singing her old songs (image courtesy Nelly Furtado).
She has won a Grammy award, and numerous Juno awards.

But six years passed between Nelly's Furtado's smash hit record "Loose" and her new record, "The Spirit Indestrucitble."

During that time she released a Spanish-speaking disc, but stayed out of the Top 40 charts.

Now Nelly is touring Canada promoting her new album.

She plays at the Interior Savings Centre Friday.

Daybreak host Shelley Joyce speaks with Nelly Furtado.
