NorKam students get the jump on school

Monday means it is back to class for school kids in Kamloops.

That means it is back to catching the bus, and sitting in a desk after a long, fun-filled holiday break.

The exception?

A group of 23 grade 11 students at NorKam Secondary School.

They can't  wait to get back to the books.

They are the inaugural class in the international baccalaureate program.

Daybreak host Shelley Joyce took a trip to NorKam to meet some of the students, and find out what made them sign up in the first place.
