The proposed Prosperity mine near Williams Lake follows a familiar story line.

Those in favor of the mine say the community needs its money and jobs.

Those opposed say the mine will ravage important fish habitat and other natural areas.

Tuesday night opponents will tell Williams Lake city council about their concerns.

This comes only days after the mine proposal was told to slow down by federal reviewers.

Jenny Noble is with Fish Lake Alliance, and she speaks with Daybreak Host Shelley Joyce.
