Kamloops city council was busy on Tuesday, making a couple of decisions involving stories we were following.
First is an exchange between councillor Tina Lange, fire chief Neill Moroz and Mayor Peter Milobar about what may have happened on the weekend with 911.
That is when a fire burned through a house in Kamloops, and repeated calls to 911 were answered with busy signals, according to the home's renter, Shanna Little.
At four minutes into this audio, host Shelley Joyce introduces the story of the Kamloops Cadets Society who asked the city for $4,000 to help buy a new furnace for their building.
Council denies the request, and you can hear some of that debate on this audio.
