Cat-skiing trips almost sold out in Revelstoke-area

This year, thousands of tourists will spend thousands of dollars in the back country, taking part in an industry that, up to now, has been unknown to many.

Cat-skiing used to be a niche sport but lately it's been gaining in popularity, and anyone trying to book a cat-skiing trip this season will tell you: it's nearly all sold out.

Scott Martin owns a marketing company in Calgary, and he believes he might have been personally responsible for spreading the word on this top destination sport.

Daybreak host Shelley Joyce spoke with them both.
