Kamloops RCMP are looking for 2 suspects after a home invasion in the 200 block of Valleyview Drive Tuesday night. The two people who live in the home say 2 masked men entered their home with guns drawn. They made the 2 men in the home lay on the floor while they took items. Police say before the two left they used a can of bear spray on the two victims. RCMP say they believe this a targeted robbery as there was evidence of illegal activity in the residence.

Kamloops to focus on youth homelessness in national pilot project

Kamloops has been named as one of two pilot communities in a national project focused on ending youth homelessness. As part of the program Kamloops will receive resources for planning and development of a youth homelessness strategy. Once that strategy is complete it will be used as a model for other communities across Canada. Kingston, Ontario, is the other community taking part.
