Budget Rent a Car overcharging for minor damage

Budget Rent a Car is under fire from several customers, who are going public to accuse the rental car giant of grossly overcharging them in B.C. for minor "damage" to vehicles.

In some cases, it was damage Budget discovered after the customer dropped off the vehicle and left.

The customers say they were made to pay for tiny dents and chips that were normal wear and tear, or not their responsibility.

The CBC's Kathy Tomlinson explains to host Shelley Joyce what her investigation uncovered.
