They bring a global perspective to Thompson Rivers University, and they pay a lot of money for the privilege.TRU is home to almost 2,000 international students and their tuition is higher than Canadian students: It's almost $7,000 per semester.
And it's going up
Next fall, international students they will pay almost $8,000 a semester.
The university's students' union says the hike goes too far, and are launching a campaign to stop it.
