The doors are open at 218 Victoria St., come on down! (Jackie Sharkey/CBC)

Daybreak Kamloops is in the starting gate.

We're launching our new morning show on Tuesday, Oct. 9th -- and you're invited!

Join us for an open house on our opening day.

You can watch the morning show with Shelley Joyce, listen-in to live interviews, take home some CBC give-aways...maybe even win some prizes!

At noon, Mark Forsythe will broadcast his B.C. Almanac program from our Kamloops studio. The topic of the day is the Ajax mine, so it's bound to be a lively discussion.

All day there will be live music.
Andrew Allen, a singer-songwriter from Vernon, will play during the morning show.
Tillers Folley will entertain from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Their hit Death and Taxes just won Song of the Year (social action) through the Independent Music Awards' Vox Pop poll.

Drop by and meet the new Kamloops team.
And CBC celebrities like Bob McDonald of Quirks and Quarks.

That's Tuesday, Oct. 9
From 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
At the new CBC Kamloops station,  218 Victoria St., Kamloops.
