Meet team CBC Kamloops

Team Kamloops.JPG

Our team has been very busy hammering out the details before our big show launch on Oct. 9.

There are four members of the Kamloops crew.
Shelley Joyce (top left) is our morning show host. She'll be on the air everyday from 6:00 am to 8:30 am. Shelley says she can't wait to get started, "the anticipation is killing me!"
Doug Herbert (bottom left) will handle the newscasts. He's a veteran reporter in Kamloops and is excited to bring his passion for news to the CBC. Doug says, "Kamloops is a great place for news, with many interesting stories that deserve to be heard."
Associate Producer Josh Pagé (bottom right) will chase stories for CBC Kamloops. He'll be gathering tape and lining up guests. Josh comes from Saskatchewan and is trying to strengthen his legs for walking the many hills of Kamloops."I've never been so sore," he says.
Producer Rob Polson (top right) will oversee the day's agenda, co-ordinating all the bits and pieces from Kamloops and the CBC network at large. Rob began his career in Kamloops more than 20 years ago. He says a few people still remember those days, "I've been asked a few times, 'Hey, didn't you used to be someone?'"
