PEI Households Facing Food Insecurity
For the last five years, PEI's Food Security Network has been hammering home the message that many Islanders can't afford to put food on the table. The new study shows PEI is the second worst in the country for children living in households facing food insecurity. CBC's Laura Chapin sought out reaction to the report and spoke with Jennifer Taylor, a member of PEI's Food Security Network and Hon. Valerie E. Docherty Minister, Community Services and Seniors Minister.
