Island Morning Weather Watchers

snowchtown.JPGWe are looking for your help to keep everyone up to date with the latest weather and traffic information on P.E.I.

As part of the Island Morning Weather Watchers club we'll ask that you give us updates on the weather and traffic conditions in your area of the province. We may also be making contact with you from time to time to find out more specific information.

Do I have to go on air?

No, well, unless you want to.  We'll leave the option up to you. You can call into Talkback, drop us an e-mail or send us a tweet. Of course, we are a radio program so hearing from people is our first choice, but we'll leave that up to you.

How much information do you want?

What you are seeing, hearing and feeling. Let us know how visibility is on the road you are on, what you are seeing along the shore, or even in your own backyard.  We would like some specifics on your route number, the community you are in and so on.  You don't have to be a trained weather forecaster.  We'll leave that to Boomer.

Do you want to hear from me regularly?

As often as you would like.  No pressure!  If you think people should know, let us know and we'll pass it along.

What information do you want from me?

It would be great if we could have your home community, e-mail, cell or home phone number, and a twitter account if you have one.  We promise not to bug you unless it is absolutely necessary.  Please send it along using our contact form.

Is there anything in it for me?mitchtoque.JPG

First, you get to hear your name on the radio.  And from time to time we may have some tiny trinkets to send along to people who are contributing to Island Morning through the Weather Watchers feature. By the way, the toques are the right size... Mitch's head is the problem.
