Anne and Herpes - Maggie Koerth-Baker

It's been a tough week for our Anne of Green Gables. First a blonde voluptuous version on the cover of a new box set of Anne novels, caused a stir among fans. And now a science writer in the US has written a headline that may leave you shaking your head. It reads:  "Anne of Green Gables had herpes (and you probably do, too)". But before we get all worked up about the article, we thought we'd better talk to the author. Maggie Koerth-Baker is the science editor at BoingBoing dot Net.
