PEI Hits New Electrical Peak Record During 2012 Holiday
It's not exactly the news energy conscious Islanders will want to hear. But PEI has hit an all-time high for electricity use. It peaked one evening in early December... at almost 230 megawatts. Last year's peak was 223. To find out why electricity use has jumped over the past year on PEI, Island Morning contacted Maritime Electric spokesperson, Kim Griffin.
