A Song for Tanner and Mitch
Family and friends of Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean will hold a candle-light ceremony Saturday night at Memorial Field in Charlottetown. It was one year ago that the two young Island baseball players were shot and killed on the side of an Alberta highway. Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean were on their way to the Calgary airport... to fly home to P.E.I. for Christmas. The two were playing baseball with the Lethbridge Bulls.
The past year has been filled with tributes to Tanner and Mitch...both in Alberta and here on Prince Edward Island. Singer-songwriter Paul Broadbent has added his own tribute to the ballplayers. It's a song he has written called "Angels in the Infield". He dropped by the Island Morning studio to talk about his inspiration --and to share his song.
