Political Panel - Polls, Power and Resignations

Political Panel Jordan Nancy Paul 3.jpgConservative Leader Olive Crane certainly caught most Islanders off guard with her announcement this week that she was stepping down. She's held the job since 2010. Crane says Wednesday's dismal CRA poll results that showed her losing more ground, had nothing to do with her decision to leave. She says she had already made up her mind to step down.

Our political panel jumps in with their thoughts on this big news story. Lawyer Nancy Key joins us from our CBC studio in Summerside. Graphic publisher Paul MacNeill is in our Charlottetown studio. And this morning, we're pleased to welcome guest panelist Jordan Brown... a Charlottetown lawyer who's President of the Liberal Riding Association in District 13 (the Premier's riding)
