Women in Politics - Irene Dawson
Sixty-nine island communities go to the polls November 5th. PEI's Municipal Affairs minister is encouraging more islanders to put their names on the ballot, including more women. Irene Dawson is a member of that committee. She's been a Cornwall Town councillor for 26 years. Laura Chapin talked to her about the challenges convincing women to run, and why PEI is slightly ahead of the curve.
