Social Media Panel - School Laptops

SchoolLaptop.jpgThis is one of the most expensive months of the year for parent. New clothes, school supplies, student fees, hockey registration... on and on. Now imagine adding a new laptop to the list. That's what happened at one school in Winnipeg. The students at Dakota Collegiate don't use books anymore - all of the teachers and students work from laptops. But they're not provided by the school. Every student who can afford a laptop has to buy it privately and take it to class everyday. Beth Johnston and Dave Cormier are the members of the Island Morning social media panel.
