Heading into the Sports Hall of Fame

halloffamers.jpgThere is a P.E.I. connection to the World Series winning Toronto Blue Jays of 1992 and 1993. Don McDougall grew up in Bloomfield. He became involved in professional sports while working with the Labatt Brewing Company in Toronto in the 1970s. He helped develop the franchise that went on to win the World Series.

McDougall is being inducted into the P-E-I Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, along with hockey administrator Clair Sudsbury, sensei Armand Martin and the Crystal Sisters hockey team. Don McDougall and Clair Sudsbury dropped by our Island Morning studio to reminisce about their careers in sports.
