Easter Seals - Andrea Gallant
Twenty-four-year old Andrea Gallant was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy when she was just a toddler. She's been in a wheelchair ever since, with limited mobility. But that hasn't stopped the Alberton woman from achieving her goals....such as going to university, and becoming an artist.
Easter Seals has helped Gallant with her goals along the way. When she was at UPEI, the organization funded a motorized wheel chair...and a lift in her dorm room. Gallant now works at the West Prince Holland College campus. That's where the CBC's Lindsay Carroll met up with her.
