The Bridge Dwellers

It's likely the last place you'd expect to find people living... under the Hillsborough Bridge.

On Tuesday, Charlottetown police put the run to a group of young bridge dwellers. Police were called after a company cleaning bird droppings from the bridge girders, discovered the illegal campers.

It appears they had been living there for weeks, sleeping in tents and on cardboard boxes, and cooking food around a stone fire pit.

Island Morning's Pat Martel has their story.
