Royal Monday Morning - Revisit the Royal Visit!
It was a Royal Monday for Prince Edward Island. We've pulled together some of the highlights!
At 6:15, we met some of the Royal Watchers who camped out overnight in front of Province House.
The Clerk of the Legislative Assembly, Charlie MacKay, told Matt about the preps for Province House.
We had a preview of the "waterbird" exercise from a crew member aboard the Canadian Sea King and talked to the director of the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus.
Jewel Cunningham of Parks Canada had the butterflies as she waited for her chance to tour with the Royal Couple...and a couple of folks from 1864 dropped by for a visit.
Laura Chapin chatted with Anne Allen from the Charlottetown Festival. She was once a private dance tutor for the late Princess Diana. And "Anne", Tess Benger, was also prepping for her brush with the royals.
Matt wrapped up with one very sweet royal fan.
