A Graphic Novel for Kids Written by Kids about Bullying
Whether it's on the school bus or in the classroom, most kids have encountered a bully. A collection of their stories has been made into a graphic novel. The authors: a grade six class from Elm Street Elementary School in Summerside. Rhonda Ellis applied through ArtSmarts PEI to fund this class project. Ellis asked artist Maurice Bernard to help bring these stories to life in the graphic novel called "Standing Small." The CBC's Julia Cook went up to Elm Street School to read with some of the students.
