We love sharing easy, delicious recipes that are nutritious and healthy for everyone in your family. So when we heard that most of us aren't getting enough milk products every day, we invited Registered Dietitian, Sue Mah, to join us in the audience and give us a few tips.
Sue mentions that cooking with milk and milk products is a great way to get up to 16 essential nutrients such as calcium, magnesium and vitamin B12. And did we mention how good it tastes? Take Stefano's Ricotta and Spinach Gnocchi - it's absolutely delicious and gets two thumbs up from Sue. Why? Because a diet rich in milk products, fruit and veggies has been shown to prevent and control high blood pressure.
So roll up your sleeves and get creative in the kitchen. Better yet, get the kids to help out too. After all, they need milk and milk products every day to help them reach their maximum bone mass. Check out the recipes below and have fun cooking!
