Sure a barbecue, fancy brunch or dinner out are nice ways to celebrate Father's Day--but we have a unique idea for you this year. Hit a "hole"-in-one by making a batch doughnuts for Dad! They're the ultimate present for the guy who has everything, and a tasty treat (not to mention trendy treat too) that you may not have considered making at home before.
Well you should. Stefano's doughnuts are really easy to make. You don't have to fuss with a complicated batter, since his are made with a forgiving 5-ingredient pizza dough. Or try Stefano's Churros, a Spanish-style doughnut made from choux paste, which is a simple dough made in minutes on the stove. Plus they're served with chocolate sauce for dipping, as if homemade doughnuts weren't special enough!
And a batch of doughnuts on Father's Day with a sprinkling of bacon on top? He'll be bragging about this Father's Day until the next. Stefano's doughnuts for the Dad in your life--we're betting he'll think it's as great an idea as we do.
