Spiked with orange liqueur and orange zest, this chocolate sauce is wonderful over ice cream or use as a dipping sauce for fresh fruit.
1 cup whipping cream (35 %)
1 cup finely chopped dark chocolate
Zest of 1/2 orange
1 tbsp. orange liqueur
1 tsp. vanilla
Add chocolate to heatproof bowl. Heat cream until it just comes to a boil. Pour over chocolate. Let stand for 1 minute. Whisk until chocolate is melted and smooth. Add orange zest, orange liqueur and vanilla. Stir to combine.
Yield: About 1 1/2 cup.
