Breakfast Yogurt Parfaits

A classic and a favorite for a reason. Parfaits are easy and fun for kids to make, and they make a healthy and filling breakfast, or even a delicious dessert.


INGREDIENTS

Yogurt Parfaits
4 small mason jars (optional)
4 cups plain Greek yogurt or Drained Yogurt
Honey, to taste
1 cup blueberries
1 cup chopped mangoes
1 cup chopped kiwis
1 cup chopped strawberries

Easy Granola Topping
2 tbsp. ground flax meal
4 tbsp. chopped hazelnuts
2 tbsp. wheat germ
2 tbsp. shredded unsweetened coconut
2 tbsp. brown sugar, or to taste
2 tbsp. large rolled oats
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flax oil
1 tsp. vanilla


PREPARATION

Yogurt Parfaits
Make the parfaits in mason jars or parfait glasses.

Add in even layers to the mason jars: blueberries, yogurt, drizzle of honey, mango, yogurt, drizzle of honey, kiwi, yogurt, drizzle of honey, strawberries and yogurt. Top with Easy Granola Topping.

Easy Granola Topping
Combine flax meal, hazelnuts, wheat germ, coconut, brown sugar, and oats, cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle with vanilla and flax oil and toss to combine.
