These quick and easy Martini Strawberries are light and elegant dessert. You can use dry vermouth instead of sweet, just add more sugar to taste.
1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup sweet vermouth
2 tbsp. sugar, or taste
Mint leaves, for garnish
Combine strawberries, sugar and vermouth. Let marinate for 5 to 10 minutes or make ahead and marinate overnight.
Serve in martini glasses and garnish with mint.
Yield: 4 servings.
