Flavoured with roasted garlic, olives and thyme, this Easy Marinated Goat Cheese makes a thoughtful and delicious hostess gift.
10-ounce log of goat cheese
Roasted Garlic, to taste
Handful mixed olives, pitted
3 whole dried chile peppers
3 fresh thyme sprigs
Extra virgin olive oil, as needed
3 small jars
Cut goat cheese into 3 pieces. Add to each of the 3 jars: piece of goat cheese, roasted garlic cloves, olives, chile pepper and thyme sprig. Fill with enough olive oil to cover completely. Refrigerate and use within 5 to 7 days.
Serve with fresh or toasted bread.
Yield: 3 jars.
