Crispy Kale Chips

A healthy alternative to potato chips, these addictive kale chips are the perfect snack food!


Kale Chips
1 bunch kale, woody stems removed, cut into large bite size pieces
2 tbsp. olive oil
Sea salt, to taste

Chili Lime Seasoning
1 tsp. sea salt
2 tsp. lime zest
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder


Kale Chips
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine olive oil and sea salt, to taste. Toss and rub kale pieces with oil so lightly and evenly coated. Transfer to baking sheets without overlapping.

Bake kale, checking every 10 minutes and removing any crispy pieces. Bake until kale is dry and crispy, about 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with Chili Lime Season and serve.

Chili Lime Seasoning
Combine sea salt, lime zest, cumin, chili powder and garlic powder.

Yield: 6 to 8 cups.
