Bacon & Egg Pizza

With lots of cheese, crispy bacon and topped with fried eggs - this quick and easy breakfast pizza is sure to become a family favourite.


1 pound homemade or store-bought pizza dough
6 thick slices of bacon, cut in half
3 tbsp. olive oil, for brushing on pizza
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cup grated aged cheddar cheese
6 eggs
Olive oil, for frying eggs
2 tbsp. chopped chives, for garnishing
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Add bacon to large fry pan over medium heat. Cook bacon until lightly golden. (It will finish cooking on the pizza.) Transfer to paper towel and set aside.

Roll dough 1/4–inch thick, to fit a 12-inches x 16-inches baking sheet. Transfer pizza dough to baking sheet.

Brush pizza dough with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with Parmesan and cheddar. Add bacon. Bake until pizza crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling, about 15 to 20 minutes.

While pizza is baking, fry eggs in olive oil sunny-side up or cook over easy, depending on how you prefer your eggs.

Add eggs to pizza. Garnish with chives and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
