Stefano's Chocolate Crunch Snack

This heavenly snack made with dark chocolate, almonds and cornflakes takes only minutes to prepare and it's sure to make you very popular at work.


INGREDIENTS

4 ounces dark chocolate
2 3/4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. maple syrup
Pinch salt
2 cups corn flakes
1 tbsp. sliced almonds


PREPARATION

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler.

Add maple syrup, pinch salt, cornflakes and almonds. Stir gently to combine. Don’t over mix or chocolate will be grainy.

Using a tablespoon, spoon mounds of chocolate mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Transfer to fridge to let chocolate harden. Makes about 1 dozen.



Yield: 12 servings.
