Fennel seeds and garlic add fantastic flavour to these grilled pork chops, creating an elegant, easy-to-prepare dish that's worthy of a dinner party.
4 thick cut pork chops, bone-in
About 4 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. fennel seeds, crushed
2 garlic cloves, chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Season pork chops with salt and pepper and evenly coat with fennel seeds and garlic. Drizzle chops with olive oil.
Preheat grill to medium high.
Add pork chops to grill. Cover. Grill chops for 4 to 5 minutes, then flip. Cook until just a hint of pink remains in centre, another 4 to 5 minutes, depending on thickness of chops.
Yield: 4 servings.
