Local MP Raises Concerns About CBC News Coverage

CBC head Hubert LaCroix has been in Ottawa this week presenting the network's five year plan before the House of Commons Heritage Committee. Lacroix faced some hard questions from government MP's -- and some of those came from New Brunswick south-west Conservative John Williamson. He raised concerns about the network's approach to news. An approach he says tends to be one-sided.

Harbour Bridge Update

Communters should be used to slow going on the Harbour Bridge. Prolonged construction is one thing, but now that the toll booths are gone the DOT is looking at ways to control the speed on the bridge. Claude Williams is the Minister of Transportation.

History On The Move

On Saturday, a gun barrel used more than a century ago will be dedicated along with a monument at the Barrack Green Armoury. Captain Tom Watters is with the 3rd Field Artillery Regiment he talked to Hance about the historic gun barrel.
