Bruce Northrup On Potash Mine Near Millstream

The provincial government hopes to announce within the next few weeks which company will get the rights to explore a large potash deposit in the Millstream area, near Apohaqui. The hope is it will eventually lead to construction of a mine on the scale of the one now being built in Penobsquis. Bruce Northrup is New Brunswick's Natural Resources Minister. Staff in his department have been talking to a number of companies.
