Power Surges To The Lower West Side

Mary Ellen Carpenter was one of many Lower West side residents who had their electronics damaged after a recent power surge. Since then, dozens of claims have come in for short-circuited electronics and appliances. Last night, Saint John Energy decided the utility was not negligent and that they will not be paying out on the claims.
