November 25, 2009:  H1N1 Vaccination clinics are open to all Nova Scotians. The province's chief public health officer, Dr Robert Strang, is urging everyone to be vaccinated.

November 24, 2009:
The Dominion Paper, in co-operation with the Halifax Media Co-op, is publishing a special edition to explore the social implications of the Vancouver Olympics.

November 23, 2009: The Colchester Regional Museum in Truro is holding an exhibit about George Isaac "Ike" Smith, from Stewiacke.

November 19, 2009: A new library will eventually replace the Spring Garden Road Memorial building -- which opened in 1951, and has a rich history of its own.

November 17, 2009:  David Wheeler, the Dean of the Faculty of Management at Dalhousie University, is advising the province on alternative energy.  You can read his paper online, and you can take part in public sessions by emailing him or calling 461-6704.

November 13, 2009: Nova Scotia contributed a sytrofoam block to a huge domino tumble in Germany, to mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. If you cue in 34 seconds, you can see our block, which shows the view through the opening from the east to west.  It is the second from the right.

November 3, 2009:  If you spot a mainland moose, or would like to learn more, go to the species at risk website.

November 5, 2009:  The Coast has prepared an interactive map to illustrate crime statistics in the HRM.
