Episode Update

Nova Scotia is surrounded by, shaped by,
and inspired by water.

We want to celebrate that with Information Morning's
Sharing the View Calendar for 2013
 
We are now accepting submissions!

If you're a painter in Nova Scotia, we want to hear from you.  Please include these elements in your submission: a paragraph or two about what you would paint for the Sharing the View Calendar, and why, and 2 images of your work.
 
Think creatively! Water in Nova Scotia can mean hundreds of things: We have ocean beaches and coastlines, we have lakes, rivers, streams, waterfalls, marshes and harbours. You can admire the view, you can surf,  swim, sail, fish or paddle, the possibilities are virtually endless. What are the colours of Nova Scotia water in your life?
 
We'll be accepting submissions until June 1. If selected, artists must deliver their framed Sharing the View painting by September 1. It is possible to submit a work that is already created, but it would only be accepted if it fits the dimensions we need for the calendar. (13.5"length x 12 "height / 34.3x 30.5 cm) 
In November and December, the 12 paintings will be auctioned off online, with most of proceeds to Feed Nova Scotia. The artists will be offered 50 % of the reserve price, if they wish, to cover their costs.
