A mixed fun bag of business awaits you this weekend, beginning at the theatre, which is in a rock club, the newly rechristened Marquee Ballroom, where 2b Theatre is hosting a sexy, baroque collaboration with Hawksley Workman called The God That Comes.

This Saturday is Record Store Day and Taz will celebrate with a series of free performances beginning at noon including Joel Plaskett, Mo Kenney, Al Tuck, Windom Earle, Jennah Barry, Napeyes and Billie Dre and the Poor Boys. Free! The Pavilion hosts an anti-bullying fundraiser in memory of Rehteah Parsons with Alright Already, Billie Dre and Gloryhound. Doors at 6. The Music Room hosts the annual songwriters' bonanza Bluebird North, this year with Kim Wempe, Charlie A'Court, Irish Mythen, Mo Kenney and host Mel Farrimond

Close out the weekend on Sunday with Concert For Critters, a fundraiser for Bide Awhile, with Laura Smith, Thom Swift, Steven MacDougall and Carmen Townsend at the Carleton
