Theatre: Atlantic Fringe Fest opens this weekend!

Music: Halifax Urban Folk Fest continues.On Friday, Willie Stratton, Harlan Pepper, Carmen Townsend at the Seahorse, $10. Elliott Murphy & The Halifax All Stars with Steve Poltz, Danny Michel & Joel Plaskett at the Carleton. On Saturday, The Meds, Willie Nile, Heather Green at the Seahorse, $10. Jon Samuel (from Wintersleep) releases his solo album at Neptune Theatre with Nick Everett.

Theatre:
It's closing weekend at Festival Antigonish, but there's lots to see: Funny Money (Friday 8pm), Till it Hurts (Saturday 8pm), Same Time, Next Year (Saturday 2pm)

There's a benefit for Pussy Riot at Michael's on Friday and Saturday.
Stewart Legere and Cactus Flower at the Company House.
Energy Rush with T-Pain, Ludacris, Far East Movement at Alderney Landing on Sunday.
Grassmarket and Tom Terrell at the Company House.
Halifax Urban Folk Festival starts on Sunday at the Carleton (runs for a week) with Bry Webb and Daniel Romano.
