Living the good life

Our friend Crackers is a Blue Swede duck - a breed that cannot fly - and she mysteriously turned up in the pond in Hemlock Ravine Park in Bedford. As Fall approached, Crackers' human neighbours began to fear she would freeze to death. And so numerous attempts were made to catch her -- but all failed until recently. Now, she has a new home at the Briar Patch Farm and Nursery in South Berwick.
