Country hall gets new inductees

Marshall ButtonIn his Marshall Arts report, Marshall Button turns his attention to the big Country Music Hall of Fame week. The inductees include Moncton's Georges Hebert, the late George LeBlanc of Memramcook, Bonnie Rairdon of Maxwell, Carson Leighton of Black's Harbour and the late Ron Goodwin of West Sackville. The reception and gala begin at the Coverdale Recreation Centre Oct. 13 at 3:30 p.m., followed by the induction ceremony. At 8 p.m. there will be a country music concert at the Riverview Arts Centre, and a late night jam will follow at the Riverview Lions Club.
