On the (Santa) shuffle beat

Salvation Army officials (from left) Captain Leigh Ryan, Major Vida Ryan and Wayne Williams dropped by our studio Thursday to talk to Vanessa about the annual Santa Shuffle Fundraiser. The event raises money for less fortunate children and families right here in our community. If you want to join the fun, be at Centennial Park this Saturday morning at 9:30. You can sign up to participate or offer your support to a runner or walker by visiting the Running Room on Main Street, or online.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
