Juergen Weiland and Natasha Ostaff of the Rotary Club of Moncton West & Riverview join us to talk about the big Shelterbox event happening in Moncton this weekend.

The camp is scheduled to begin at 9:00am on June 4th at Riverfront Park and will wrap up at 4:00pm June 5th. The public is encouraged to attend. Various fun activities, live music, and food will round off an exciting weekend.

To get in contact with the Moncton ShelterBox Camp, call Juergen Weiland at 851-5204 or find us on Facebook under "ShelterBox Camp Moncton".

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth, and dignity to people affected by disaster worldwide. We respond instantly to earthquake, volcano, flood, hurrincane, cyclone, tsunami, or manmade disasters by delivering boxes of aid to those who are most in need.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
